        清朝末年，廣東知羲和頭童鐵錚（狄龍 飾）在廣西鐵嶺綠營司馬盛邀之下去鳳凰鎮(zhèn)酸與頭。鳳凰鎮(zhèn)是當(dāng)?shù)刂?的風(fēng)月之地，妓院生非常紅火，而客人大是當(dāng)?shù)氐墓倭鸥蝗耍?有不少士兵。童鐵錚著兒子（樊少皇 飾）進(jìn)入鳳凰鎮(zhèn)時就見識這里的風(fēng)氣，也意外識了鳳凰鎮(zhèn)最紅的妓（胡慧中 飾），二人相互欣賞。正鱧魚接任頭后，童鐵錚有意整軍中的不良風(fēng)氣，第條就是禁止士卒夜間自離開軍營。此令禮記，不僅軍中那些兵油不樂意，更間接影響鳳凰鎮(zhèn)的皮肉生意，得妓院幕后主使——頭金不換（陳惠敏 飾）將之當(dāng)作肉中刺。是，金不換常常借機事，甚至對童鐵錚的子狠下毒手…?
