The basic premise of SUBS is as banal as it is revealing. A wealthy man looking for a new housekeeper for his luxurious villa, places a wanted ad online saying "slave required". It is a rich man's joke. A cynical joke, but in the end a joke which brings Bartos and his young wife LANA into their home, changing CLAUS and EVI MüLLER-TODT's lives forever. Events unfold and the couple, who have up to now been living a life of carefree prosperity, are forced to draw a line in the sand and show their true colours. With fatal consequences.
