波蘭華沙有一個(gè)團(tuán)，其中有一名員Bronski極其擅長(zhǎng)模仿德納粹領(lǐng)袖希特勒Maria Tura和Joseph Tura是劇團(tuán)里的一對(duì)夫妻劇團(tuán)最近正在上《哈姆雷特》。出間隙，Maria收到了一束鮮花，來自一個(gè)年輕飛行員Stanislav Sobinski，趁著Joseph在舞臺(tái)上念著名臺(tái)詞to be or not to be”的時(shí)候，她安排Sobinski進(jìn)了后臺(tái)，兩人情愫暗生。然不久后，納粹侵波蘭，Sobinski只能前往作戰(zhàn)。Sobinski所在隊(duì)伍的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)是Siletsky教授，Sobinski想讓Siletsky幫忙帶封信給Maria，然而Siletsky卻連著名女演員Maria都不認(rèn)識(shí)，于是Sobinski開始對(duì)Siletsky產(chǎn)生了懷疑。Sobinski為了追蹤Siletsky又回到華沙。而另一方，Maria卻被兩個(gè)納粹士兵帶見Siletsky，Siletsky對(duì)Maria也是心生愛慕，希望Maria成為納粹在波蘭的諜。Maria借故逃回家，卻在中意外的碰到了Sobinski和她的丈夫Josef，這段三角關(guān)系該如何收?qǐng)?，?又要如何聯(lián)手對(duì)納粹?
Edna's father wants her to marry wealthy Count He-Ha. Charlie, Edna's true love, impersonates the Count at dinner, but the real Count shows up and Charlie is thrown out. Later on Charlie and Edna are chased by her father, The Count, and three policeman. The pursuers drive off a pier.
