In this paper, we design and implement fast multiplierless approximations of the discrete cosine transform(DCT) with the lifting scheme, named the BinDCT, which avoids floating point operations.

Firstly, a novel symmetric biorthogonal 97 wavelet is constructed based on the Cohen-Daubechies-Feauveau Theorem, vanishing moments condition and the lifting scheme.
該改進算法以構造雙正交小波的Cohen-Daubechies-Feauveau定理和消失矩條件為基礎,首先依據提升結構構造了一組對稱的雙正交97小波;然后用新構造的97小波取代JPEG2000標準中的CDF97小波,該新97小波算法不僅比CDF97小波的計算處理速度更快,而且在保持幾乎相同的壓縮性能的同時,能夠大大簡化圖像壓縮中的運算量;最后,通過將改進的算法應用于網絡機器人視頻監控系統的實驗表明,該算法是可行的。
