The Uniform Customs and Practice for Commercial Documentary Credits(hereinafter refer to as UCP) constituted by International Commercial Commissionplays an important role in the practice of credits since it has been come on.

國際商會制定的《跟單信用證統一慣例》(以下簡稱"UCP")從其產生開始就一直在信用證實踐中扮演著重要的角色,但隨著其賴以生存的理論基礎和實踐操作的不斷變化,上一版本——《跟單信用證統一慣例(1993年修訂版)》(以下簡稱"UCP500")的缺陷逐漸顯現,因此國際商會于2003年開始著手對UCP進行第6次修訂,且于2006年10月在巴黎大會上通過了《跟單信用證統一慣例(2007年修訂版)》(以下簡稱"UCP600")。
