探討了機器人外形美觀設計的重要性和外型復雜曲面加工的可行性 ,從而闡述了研制“S”形球面銑刀的意義 ,然后研究了加工刀具的前刀面和后刀面的數學模型與工業實現的機構可行性 ,并給出了相關的數學公式和加工數據 ,最后得出結論用簡單的 2軸完全可以實現在傳統上用 4軸數控機床才能加工的“S”形球頭刀 ,為簡化復雜刀具的加工進行探討。
